From the happiest record to listen to on vinyl to the ‘how did I ever live without these chair socks?’ these are my best buys from 2022.
Gold Bond Lotion: I feel like I’ve tried it all, but this is the best I’ve found to put on your feet before bed.
P.S.- We Made This! My girls love when packages come in the mail, especially the empty box. They also love a craft. This book is full of fairly simple and easy crafts to make from toilet paper rolls, boxes, and paper plates. Very fun!
Belt Bag: An exact dupe for the Lululemon belt bag, down to the interior pockets. At $38 the Lululemon one isn’t exactly out of reach but I bought this because well, Amazon. Next. Day. Shipping. I love using this for walks or park trips.
Artipoppe’s Zeitgeist Baby Carrier: I didn’t do much babywearing with Caroline or Elyce but using this carrier with Vivienne has changed the game. It’s insanely easy to put on and so comfortable. For full transparency, I bought this “Like New” on Facebook Marketplace for $200 but would totally buy this full price if it was for my first child, not my third.
Toniebox: We gave this to Caroline for her 5th birthday, but honestly it’s been awesome for all three girls. There’s a reason you’re seeing it everywhere these days.
Versed Day Dissolve: I don’t wear eye makeup every day but on those I do, this is the best to take it off.
Chair Socks: For years, the bane of my existence was those sticky felt pads that you put on the bottoms of your chairs to protect your hardwood floors. Every single brand I tried would peel off over time leaving a sticky residue on both the chair and the floor. Enter these silicone chair leg caps, or as Elyce calls them, “chair socks”. We have black chairs so they are surprisingly not noticeable, and I notice everything.
Tissue Box Covers: With three kids there are tissue boxes all over our house. I can’t believe it took me so long to cover them.
CAAMP Record: A new [to me] band that I can’t stop listening to. While this album is just as happy to listen to in the car, it’s one of those records that just sounds better on vinyl. I really like listening to this while I’m cooking.
Cartwheel Shorts: The perfect shorts to wear under dresses because they are short enough they don’t peek out the bottom.
