I can’t believe it’s [blank]. I feel like we’ve been saying that all year. “I can’t believe it’s already May.” “I can’t believe summer is over.” But seriously, I can’t believe it’s almost Halloween! Caroline and I made this Gutzler Ghouls sign at the end of September and here it is almost time to take it down.
Here are the Halloween books we read and loved this year. In the future I’ll try to be better about sharing holiday book recommendations at the beginning of the month, rather than the end. 🙂
- How to Make Friends with a Ghost*
- Vampire Ballerina*
- One Black Cat
- The Little Kitten
- Oscar Seeks a Friend*
- B is for Boo
- The Itsy Bitsy Pumpkin
- Goodnight Goon
- Pick a Pumpkin
- Five Black Cats
- Spooky Pookie
- Room on the Broom (this is also a ~27-minute movie on Netflix that we’ve watched a half dozen times this month already)
- Monster Trouble

*Books with an asterisk have pretty cover art but weren’t our favorites. I think the girls may enjoy the stories more as they get older.
