I could easily look back at my Spring and Summer and feel as though I have lost time. But what I recently realized is that all that “wasted time” brought me exactly where I needed to be. I am not saying I would go back and re-live unemployment, but I do see that without it I would have stayed in a job I hated just because it was a job. I wouldn’t have known what a work environment could be and how loving what you do changes the game.
Good. Must love it so it is not about a paycheck.
