This weekend we had a small dinosaur birthday party for our almost three-year-old. Our Three-Rex, if you will. We borrowed a jump house from our friends, did a dinosaur egg hunt (Easter egg hunt), and served kid food. This is not to say the party wasn’t any work or prep, but I was reminded that simple is sometimes best. It wasn’t the Instagram-perfect party I’ve seen online but Elyce was blown away saying, “this is the most beautiful party ever” and “I love my birthday party.” A sweet and simple party for my sweet as can be Three-Rex.
There were two stars of the decor show. The cookies I ordered from my friend, Allie, and the dino-decor from Shein. Yes, Shein, the fast-fashion clothing site. My sister found these decorations at nearly free prices – like $3 and $4 for these items. Such a hidden gem and a fantastic way to do a party on the cheap.
