Two weeks since the extraction of my gallbladder and happy to have it behind me. The past week has been very eventful and heartburn free, an obvious plus. I stayed home longer than I intended after surgery so it was a great feeling to get back to my apartment. Having a packed social calendar is fun too ;). Four bucket list endeavors in five days…not to shabby!

You have been busy! On the way to McNairs this evening I sent you a text. However when I opted for the punctuation page, I pushed send and the entire message was gone. But what it said was are you going to the Gay Parade on Sunday. The t.v. announcers said there would be thousands of people in the Castro district beginning today, and they referred them as “GAYS AND DYKES” AND when I used that word for Lesbians, I was chastised.
